Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, high-ownership Executive Assistant to work directly with the MD across multiple business verticals.
This is not a traditional EA role. You will function as a close operational and commercial partner to the MD: managing his time, orchestrating priorities, and bringing financial and business rigor to how decisions get made. This role is best suited to a qualified finance professional who can read the numbers behind a business, structure complexity, and use AI as a core part of how they work. You will travel with and for the MD as the business requires.

What You'll Do

Strategic, Financial & Business Support
  • Work directly with the MD on initiatives across existing and new business verticals
  • Analyze business and financial performance across verticals: read P&Ls and MIS, interpret key metrics, and flag deviations, risks, and opportunities early
  • Prepare concise, insight-driven briefs and board-ready presentations that translate numbers into clear commercial recommendations
  • Build financial models, feasibility views, and scenario analyses to support the MD's decisions
  • Partner closely with the Group finance/CFO office to pull, validate, and synthesize information into actionable inputs for the MD
  • Track business performance at a high level so the MD stays informed without being pulled into the details
Project & Documentation Management
  • Maintain structured documentation across all active projects: ownership, timelines, and status
  • Turn loosely defined goals into structured plans and track them to completion
  • Build and manage dashboards and reporting structures that support faster decisions
AI & Systems Orchestration
  • Serve as the AI orchestrator for the MD's office: actively deploying AI tools to streamline communication, research, reporting, and day-to-day workflows
  • Relevant tools include: ChatGPT / Claude for drafting and research, Notion AI for documentation, Zapier / Make for automations, Otter.ai or Fireflies for meeting notes, Motion or Reclaim for intelligent scheduling, and similar tools
  • Continuously identify and implement new tools and automations that reduce manual effort and improve output quality
MD Time & Priority Management
  • Own the MD's schedule end-to-end: not just calendar logistics, but ensuring time is protected and allocated to what matters most
  • Act as a coordination layer between the MD and senior leaders across businesses
  • Proactively resolve conflicts, bottlenecks, and competing priorities before they reach the MD

What We're Looking For

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional finance qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-moving, high-performance environment; exposure to commercial, manufacturing, or trading businesses is a strong plus
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen: comfortable interpreting P&Ls, MIS, and business performance data, spotting trends, and translating figures into clear insights that drive faster decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written communication: can synthesize complex information into crisp, clear outputs
  • Actively uses AI tools in daily work and stays current with new developments: this is a core expectation, not a nice-to-have
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including at short notice, across KGK's global operations
  • High discretion, strong judgment, and a mature presence when working with senior leadership
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of building structure from scratch
  • Long-term career orientation with a bias toward action
